Water is the first ingredient, followed by moisturizing agents including manuka honey and mafura oil. It absorbs well, leaves the hair soft, and the rinse is clean without sticky residue. Available at most drugstores and Target.
Cantu Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque: A richer option for high-porosity or very dry 4C hair. Shea butter appears early in the ingredient list, which makes it more suitable as a sealant-conditioner combination. Follow with a water-based leave-in for best results.
Leave-In Conditioners
Kinky-Curly Knot Today Leave-In Conditioner / Detangler: Available widely, often marketed as a detangler but functions well as a leave-in for 4C textures. Aloe vera is the second ingredient. Light enough not to weigh down tight coils but moisturizing enough to serve as the liquid layer in an LOC routine.
